BECAUSE OF THE COLOURS
CULTURE
We see
the diversity of human nature, and the cataclysmic ramifications of the
generalization syndrome.
We exist in a space where we get to
complain about the things we cannot change, where we absorb the madness of the
world in privileged silences. I have only now realised that I have perhaps
existed in many ways in a bubble of some sorts. A bubble where I am entirely enamoured
by the mechanisms of my ability to see things from my perspective. Of waking up
every day to the life I have been privileged to be born into despite its
challenges. Of having the ability to dream and foster hopes of idealisms and
vision and ambition.
I see now, that inherent need of our
generation to engage in the catharsis of thoughts and the ability to open up
ourselves to the possibilities of being better is of a fact an advantage to
humanity. Despite our various ills and faults, we at least continue to make
efforts to talk about the things that affect the people who do not have the
voice to.
We see the diversity of human nature, and
the cataclysmic ramifications of the generalization syndrome. One that has
given birth to stereotypes and stifling doctrines of the principles of
normalcy. We see the problem with the minority majority statistics being used
in the most reductive instances to foster a culture of prejudice and exclusion.
Because we see the colours in the eyes of
every human being, however they choose to be, whomever they chose to be. Because
of the colours, we are liberated.
And here goes some last minute second guessing and innocuous
ramblings. I hope you do fine?

love, x E
